There are two particular administrative areas in China – regions that don’t fall beneath the legal framework of the the rest of the mainland. One is Hong Kong, because it was a British territory properly into the late twentieth century that established a capitalist culture inside communist China, and the opposite is Macau. Macau has its own monetary system, immigration coverage, and legal system that makes it distinct from the laws of China, and could have these autonomous powers till the year 2049.
